Our P500Q, P460Q and P355Q steel plates are high-quality quenched and tempered (Q+T) weldable fine-grained steels that fully comply with the EN 10028-6 standard. These steel plates are specifically designed for high-pressure boiler and pressure vessel applications and undergo rigorous ultrasonic testing (UT) to ensure internal integrity and a defect-free structure.
These plates are available in a wide range of thicknesses – from 10 mm to 350 mm for P500Q/P460Q, and from 10 mm to 750 mm for P355Q.

Q: What is the difference between P355Q, P460Q, and P500Q?
A: The primary difference lies in minimum yield strength: P355Q requires 355 MPa, P460Q requires 460 MPa, and P500Q requires 500 MPa. Higher grades offer greater strength but may have slightly different toughness requirements. P355Q is also available in much thicker plates (up to 750mm) compared to P460Q/P500Q (up to 350mm).

A: Yes. The standard grades are tested at -20°C. For applications requiring lower temperatures, we offer the QL1 and QL2 variants (e.g., P355QL1, P460QL1, P500QL1), which are impact-tested at -40°C and -60°C respectively.
